This is a most intriguing and unusual charm, the slogan on the outside and the heart and frog inside suggests that this is a good luck charm, that in kissing the proverbial frog one might find a prince, thereby achieving good fortune, love and sunshine.
The heart and frog revolve freely so perhaps this suggests that one might have to kiss a few frogs in order to find the prince? Not too many we hope!
The enamel throughout is in excellent condition for the age of this delightful piece that dates to the 1920s/early 1930s. It is unmarked and tests as 15ct gold. Comes with a jump ring ready to attach to your bracelet.
