International Customs Charges

US Customers

On August 29th 2025 the United States Government implemented a new Executive Order applying a 10% tariff charge in addition to the code specific duty elements detailed within the US Government Harmonized Tariff Schedule.

Initially, the Royal Mail negotiated a deferral of the additional code specific duty elements; that deferral ended on 24th July 2026 and the code specific rates now apply.

In compliance with US Government requirements, the carriers we use have  implemented shipping rates to the US that include prepaid Customs Duties together with a small handling fee.

From 24th July 2026 the US total duty rates are 15.5% for gold jewellery and 16.3% for silver jewellery.

Our US customers will have these Customs Duties added during checkout, and should face no further charges once their parcel arrives in the US.

We will pay the handling fee.

EU Customers

From 1 July 2026 The EU removed the €150 exemption for low-value imports, introducing a temporary flat fee of €3 per item.

Standard EU import taxes & VAT still apply and all customs duties will remain the responsibility of the customer.

Handling fees charged by our carriers will be paid by us.

Rest of World

There will be no change for our global customers outside the US & the EU, who remain liable for any local import duties set by their own Governments.

Shipping will remain free worldwide for all of our customers.
